If you’re in Davao City, you may want to squeeze this in your itinerary: Lon Wa Temple, located along JP Cabaguio Avenue, Agdao District.

“Lon Wa” or “Long Hua” which means “Temple of the Dragon” is home to Kung Fu monks and nuns of the Philippine Academy of Sakya, a Buddhist religion movement. (http://davaocitybybattad.blogspot.com)

The facade is wonderful and great for taking pictures. I went there at around 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. Admission is free and open to the public from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Jeepneys with Route 10 and Route 4 labels pass by the temple. You can also take the jeepney bound for Sasa then tell the driver to drop you off at JP Cabaguio. At the crossing, ride the jeep along JP Cabaguio that will take you to Lon Wa Temple or Philippine Academy of Sakya.

How to get there will depend on which part of the city you are in. Don’t hesitate to ask directions from the  receptionist or guard before leaving your hotel. I did 2 rides when I could have done it with just one ride. Anyway, at least I didn’t get lost. Hope you’ll find this useful, happy trip!🏯
